Bryce Kendrick B.Sc. (Honours.) University of Liverpool 1955, Ph.D. University of Liverpool 1958, D.Sc. University of Liverpool 1980, F.R.S.C.〔(Biography page at mycolog.com )〕 (1933-) Bryce Kendrick was born in Liverpool England. After completing his Ph.D. he took an assignment as a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the National Research Council (Canada) in Ottawa. In 1965 he accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the biology department at the University of Waterloo Ontario, Canada. In 1971 he was made a Full Professor. Dr. Kendrick was both an enthusiastic teacher and researcher. He is well known for several books〔(Biblio Search on Worldcat.org )〕 and over 300 publications,〔(Bryce Kendrick's full CV including list of publications )〕 including the engaging textbook about fungi: The Fifth Kingdom.〔(The Fifth Kingdom on CD reviews )〕 Bryce Kendrick retired from the University of Waterloo and received a Distinguished Professor Emeritus in 1994.〔(Adjunct Faculty U of W )〕 He moved to Sidney, British Columbia, maintaining an Adjunct Professor status at both the University of Waterloo and University of Victoria.
